Part of our Dispute Resolution Service Group, Cridlands Health Law group was established in 1996 and is led by the expertise of Partner David Farquhar.
Cridlands is currently retained by the Northern Territory to advise the Department of Health and Community Services in its general legal work, medical negligence and coronial matters. Cridlands has represented the Northern Territory Medical Board for several years in its regulation of medical practitioners and also represents other Boards governing the health and allied professions.
Cridlands health law team provides advice and representation in the following areas:

- Advice on policy issues and interpretation of legislation and administrative law
- Investigations by the Health & Community Services Complaints Commission and the Health Insurance Commission (Northern Territory)
